No one can say Mike and Aaron are not CRAZY mountain bikers! We will ride in ANY CONDITIONS ! We are just like the postman, rain, sleet, snow.....
The forest is amazingly quiet in the snow. Even the river noise is dampened. However, your fork's dampening qualities do not matter in 1 foot of snow! Even with the shock on lock-out there is plenty of cush. The snow was wet and offered good traction. The notorious roots and rocks were not even visible. Once in a while your rear tire would slip on a shallow one. We had to turn back after about 2 miles because the snow was getting up past the bottom bracket and pushing your bike sucks! The jam back was easier because of our compacted previous tracks. All we needed was about 10 other people ride in front of us.

Aaron's bike is a demo and if you want to try it out, then we will loan it to you for FREE! We also have a Pro~Flex 857 you can ride. The catch is you must be going on one of our shop rides, otherwise you can rent either bike for $45 per day.
